Alpaga moyen – DK weight alpaca
En ce jour de Saint Valentin, je ne vous propose pas de coeur rouge, mais un peu de douceur et de chaleur: le nouveau fil alpaga moyen, disponible en trois coloris naturels.
On this Saint Valentine’s day, I’m not offering you a red heart, but some warmth and softness: the new DK weight alpaca, available in three natural colours.
C’est un fil à environ 100 m aux 50 g, avec un échantillon « standard » de 20 m aux 10 cm en jersey. Ce qui m’a un peu surpris, c’est que j’ai eu le rendu voulu en le travaillant avec une aiguille relativement fine, numéro 3.
It’s a yarn at approx 100 m (110 yds) per 50 g, with a « standard » gauge of 20 sts per 10 cm (4″) in knitted stockinette. I was a bit surprised to get the gauge and look I was expecting on a relatively small needle, 3 mm (US 3).

Je verrais bien ces couleurs douces en rayures ou en dentelle, pour un chāle comme Esjan.
