Musset - knitted and felted bag

My friend Olivia Ferrand has a creative universe entirely of her own, full of humour and poetry. Directly inspired by a poem by Alfred de Musset, she has created this knitted and felted/fulled bag, adorned with needle felting.

The bag is first knitted on large needles (9 mm - US 13) and is then felted/fulled in the washing machine. The finishing touches are needle felted.

You will need approx. 325 m [360 yds] of a feltable wool yarn at approx. 130 m [140 yds] per 100 g [3.5 oz], as well as white, black and red felting wool/roving. You will also need two curtain rings for the handles.
