Fingerless mittens for spring - crochet mittens

Worked in a single piece, without any seaming, these fingerless mittens are simple and quick to make. This is an opportunity to work in a fine yarn with subtile finishing even for those who don't have much time to crochet: one mitten works up in less than two hours.

These lovely mittens are designed by my friend EclatDuSoleil.

Size: These mittens were designed to fit a hand with a circumference at the palm of 19 cm [7.5"]. The different stitch patterns have good elasticity, so these mittens would also work for a slightly larger hand.

Yarn: Fingering weight yarn (sock yarn). One 50 g ball (210 m - 230 yds) for a pair of mittens.

Suggested hook size: 2 mm [US B-1 or steel hook size 4].
