Building on the construction of the center stitch pattern, the pattern for Falbala is easy to work up in a triangle, starting at the tip. You can freely decide on the size of the shawl, and try it on as you go.

Crocheted in a smooth yarn, this design is suitable for crocheters at all levels. If you choose to work in a thin mohair yarn you will need a little more patience and experience.

The pattern contains detailed and clear step-by-step photos.

Falbala is a design by my friend EclatDu Soleil.

Yarn: You will need approx. 700 m [765 yds] of either a fingering weight wool or wool blend at approx. 400 m per 100g [440 yds per 3.5 oz] or a thin mohair yarn at approx. 1000 m per 100 g [1010 yds per 3.5 oz].

Suggested hook size: 3 mm [US D-3].
